MINISINK VALLEY REMEMBERS SEPTEMBER 11

In memory of those we lost on September 11, 2001, the Slate Hill Fire Department (SHFD) held a memorial service at Minisink Valley's 9/11 monument, on Sunday, Sep. 10. We thank the men and women of SHFD for their service, including their recent clean-up of the monument in preparation for yesterday's commemoration.

If you were not able to join the service, we invite to come to the monument today, after school hours, to pay your quiet tribute. The monument is located on the Minisink Valley High School campus, just down from the tennis courts.

Together we honor those who lost their lives in the terror attacks, and stand with those who loved them. We commemorate those who risked or gave their lives in the rescue efforts, and take hope in their courage and humanity.
