A MESSAGE FROM SUPERINTENDENT MONAHAN

In the wake of the tragic events in Parkland, Florida, the Student Council at Minisink Valley High School expressed the desire to stand in solidarity with students across the country and participate in the National School Walkouts on March 14.

The district and high school administrations are honoring the students’ request and will provide a safe and secure space for the event. As such, on Wednesday, March 14, between 9 and 10 a.m., the high school entrance and roadways will be closed, and there will be a police presence on campus.

Minisink Valley Middle School will hold a minute of silence during third period.

If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to your child’s building principal.
