Among the rich choice of college-level courses offered at Minisink Valley High School are those made possible through SUNY Orange's Community College in the High School Program (CCHSP).

Focused on encouraging academic rigor and advancement, MVHS teachers play an active role in bringing these opportunities to our students and act as CCHSP liaisons. On April 4, they gathered with colleagues from several SUNY Orange academic departments to engage in academic and pedagogic discussions, connect, and stay current on program procedures.

Participants included Rose Marie Cricchio, Chris Ruckdeschel, Miriam Abate, Emily Rufino, Ezra Clementson, Pete Demarco, Margolzata Trocka, Bruce Guyette, Carolyn Russell and Kim Jordan.

CCHSP offers high-achieving juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn college credits while attending high school, and serves more than 800 students in 16 schools.
