MINISINK GOLFER BRANDON BELL SCORES PROGRAM'S HIGHEST FINISH IN 15 YEARS

By Coach Luke McDonald

A big congratulations goes out to Warrior golfer Brandon Bell. Brandon shot an 84, including a chip in birdie on his last hole, at the Orange County League championships held at West Point Golf Club. Brandon finished 10th out of 50 competitors. He will move on to the section 9 championships next week.

This is the highest finish by a Warrior golfer in the last 15 years. Brandon was also named the recipient of the Chuck Reynolds sportsmanship award by all of the coaches in Orange County, unanimously. This award was established in memory of former Minisink teacher and coach, Chuck Reynolds. It recognizes a senior who  demonstrates the highest standard of proper etiquette, leadership, and sportsmanship. Congratulations Brandon and good luck next week!
