2019-2020 BUDGET DEVELOPMENT MEETINGS BEGIN FEB. 7


On Tuesday, May 21, 2019, Minisink Valley residents will vote on a budget proposal for the 2019-20 school year. The budget development process is open to the public and participation is encouraged. It involves budget proposal presentations to the Finance Committee of the Board of Education on program and service areas, leading up to the presentation of the district’s proposed budget.

The first of a series of public meetings will be held tonight, Thursday, Feb. 7 at 6:30 p.m., in the middle school auditorium, prior to the Board of Education meeting. Subsequent meetings will be held on the following dates: Feb. 21, March 7, and March 21 (final budget review). The Public Budget Hearing will be held on Thursday, May 9, at 7 p.m., in the middle school auditorium.
