Birthday books is a wonderful program that allows parents to donate a book to the school library in honor of their child's birthday. A book plate is placed in the front of the chosen book and they will be the first one to check out the book. This special book is placed in a "Birthday Books" section of the library and will later be integrated into the regular book shelves.
