National Honor Society

The National Honor Society (NHS) is the nation's premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Character, Scholarship, Leadership, and Service through their high school career. These standards have been associated with membership in the organization since its founding in 1921. The Minisink Valley chapter of this national organization maintains these high standards and continues a rich historical tradition.  MVNHS has inducted hundreds of students since its inception and actively pursues salient service projects within this community and beyond.

Standards for MVNHS membership
