There’s no music like live music and no musical instrument like the human voice. On Monday, Dec. 17, starting at 7 p.m., you can have it all, for free, at the middle school’s Winter Wonderland Chorus Concert.

“We are so excited to feature so many great pieces,” said Pasqua Ventre, music/chorus teacher and concert director. “The students have been working hard since September to bring out the best in themselves. We have students also contributing to the concert by making snowflakes to decorate the stage!”

Just minutes before the school concert preview on Friday, seventh grader Clayton Duryea echoed his teacher. "I'm really excited. We've been getting ready for this since the beginning of the year, and it means a lot." Clayton's favorite song is "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy."

"We put in a lot of work and tears into this," said Vivian Harris-Viruet, also a member of the seventh grade chorus. "It means the world to us that we'll get share our voices with everyone else."

They are counting on you! So make it a celebration with the family and come out to applaud and support middle school singers and the chorus program. All are welcome!
