Mrs. Kathy Ferrier, a third grade teacher at the Intermediate School, has experienced first hand the love and kindness of the professionals at St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis and Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. Her young nephew, Michael, has been fighting a battle for almost a year and his family has been touched by the caring staff at both facilities. They have helped both he and his family in so many ways that they can’t begin to describe the gratitude they feel.   Colleagues, Mrs. Green and Mrs. DeAngelis, have contacted both facilities to find out what we can do to “pay it forward”. The result is a board game drive. This is open to anyone who would like to donate a new board game. Because of the compromised health issues of the children only new games will be accepted. Once all the games have been collected, they will be divided between the two hospitals and by the children at those two facilities. All games can be dropped off in the Intermediate School and placed on the table in the lobby.   What a great way to have our kids helping kids! Please call the Intermediate Office if you have any questions. Donations of games will be accepted until Friday, October 28th.
