It is the intent of the Minisink Valley Central School District to provide students and staff with a high quality food service program featuring nutritious fresh foods that are prepared daily and properly presented.  The variety of offerings must meet nutritional requirements and all local, state and federal regulations.

At the middle school and high school buildings, in addition to the meals that are served, students have the opportunity to purchase foods and beverages that are sold as "a la carte" items during breakfast and lunch periods.  These items comply with the recently enacted "Smart Snacks in School" requirements that limit caloric, sodium, fat and sugar content.  With so many students involved in after school activities, the $2.50 daily limit on a la carte items has been eliminated so that students are able to purchase healthy snacks to accommodate their schedules.  Please click here for more information.

MySchoolBucks is a computerized point of sale system in our cafeterias. The program provides a convenient and secure online prepayment option for our families.  Parents may continue to prepay with cash or by check, but will also be able to make their prepayments online.

Visit MySchoolBucks for online prepayments and to view student purchases.

The district receives funding from the state and federal governments and is authorized to offer free or reduced cost meals to families that meet specific income guidelines. Click here to view and print application.

The application may also be found on the district webpage under Forms and Publications/Lunch Application.  In addition, hard copies of the application are available in each of the schools main offices and in the office of Diane Super, Registrar and School Lunch Coordinator.
