James (JJ) Henriques — Junior  — Boys Swimming
James has been a top swimming performer in Section 9 this season. He and his teammates are ranked 14th in New York state in the 200 medley relay and JJ is a major contributor to that success. The Warrior team is also undefeated with an 8-0 record heading into the winter break, with JJ leading the way. At last weekend's Wizard Invitational, he won both the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly events. His outstanding athletic performance is matched by an “A” average in school. “JJ works extremely hard, and he’s very humble,” Coach Brian Golden said.

Brylee Pelfrey — Senior — Cheerleading
Brylee demonstrated leadership at a critical time in the season for the Warrior Cheerleaders team. Her advanced execution of difficult skills in the areas of tumbling and stunting contributed to the team’s successful bid to compete at UCA's National High School Cheerleading Championship in February, in Orlando, Florida. “Brylee stepped up when needed most,” said Coach Patti Archiere. “She helped us fill a position needed to execute a clean pyramid at the end of our routine. Her athleticism and leadership really shined through!”
