Fourteen high school/OU BOCES CTE students inducted into National Technical Honor Society

Fourteen high school students who attend the Orange-Ulster BOCES Career and Technical Education Center Program were among 145 students inducted into the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) in a June 6 ceremony.

The OU BOCES chapter of the National Technical Honor Society distinguishes, honors and encourages students who excel at their career and technical education studies and who possess admirable character, attitude, and a strong intellect.

Inducted students maintained a 95% average or better in their CTE classes, have at least a 95% attendance rate, and are involved in school and/or community service. In addition, students can have no more than six unexcused absences through the third quarter.

Seniors, who are current NTHS members, also received their graduation stoles and honor cords at this ceremony.  They are:
