The competition, held at Monroe-Woodbury High School, was first level of competition in New York State FBLA. Members competed in both “performance” events that were completed in front of judges as well as objective tests where the highest score wins. Competing with Minisink Valley were FBLA teams representing Monroe-Woodbury, Carmel, John Jay, Valley Central, Roy C. Ketcham and Tri-Valley high schools.
The next level of competition is the State Leadership Conference, to be held in Rochester in April. At this conference, a group representing Minisink Valley will compete against students from all over New York State in over 50 business related events.
