Senior Daisy Finke and junior Jenna Bartels were named People’s Choice Award winners at the recent “The Arts Build Confidence Showcase” at the Galleria at Crystal Run in Middletown.
Daisy earned first-place honors and Jenna earned second-place honors in this exhibit where the public was invited to vote on their favorite pieces of art.
“The Arts Build Confidence" is an annual art showcase hosted by the Orange County Arts Council. It features an exhibit of Orange County High School student artwork, a digital display of elementary and middle school artwork and performances by high school theater groups.
Other participating Minisink Valley High School students were: Alana Acevedo-Pilier, Lexie Giakoumis, Julia Kronimus, Dannica McKenzie, Gianna Miller-Bianchi, Isabella Odland, Anniyah Quammie and Isabella Soto.
This showcase is a venue for students to showcase their artistic talents and creative achievements to the broader Orange County community, with hope that having their works on exhibit further inspires their artistic interests.
