The Minisink Valley High School Key Club and its members were honored for their talent and leadership during Key Club New York’s Leadership Training Conference, held from March 28 to 30 in Albany.
“Our Key Club members showcased their unwavering dedication, tireless efforts, and impactful contributions to the community,” Amy Colella. “We all applaud them for their outstanding commitment to service and leadership.”
Students honored were:
Natalie Deoragh, 2024-25 president, who earned the $1,000 Governor’s Scholarship
Reilly Kain-Dickinson was awarded “Distinguished Key Club Member”
Hannah Wieboldt, 2023-24 treasurer, was awarded “Distinguished Club Treasurer”
The High School’s chapter was awarded second-place for the “Traditional Scrapbook Award.” Throughout the year, the members diligently documented each service project and fundraiser to include in their scrapbook.
“President Natalie Deoragh brought together a dedicated scrapbook committee within the club that played a pivotal role in bringing the club's hard work to life,” added Ms. Colella.
The club also received the “Membership Retention Award” by maintaining 100+ Key Club members for the 2024-25 service year.
Key Club International is the oldest and largest student-led community service organization for high school students, focused on developing leadership skills and promoting service to others. The High School’s Key Club was formed in 1967.
