Members of the Army National Guard's “Team Hudson Valley,” based at Camp Smith in Cortlandt Manor in Westchester County, brought their 30-foot rock wall to the Middle School for a surprise “Challenge by Choice” physical education class opportunity on Oct. 8.
Under the guidance of SFC Adam Rivera, a Minisink Valley parent, and his colleagues, "A Day" physical education students were offered the special chance to test their climbing skills at the rock set up outdoors.
Thank you to SFC Rivera and his colleagues for bringing the New York Army National Guard's only rock wall to the Middle School campus! Tonight, it heads to John F. Kennedy International Airport for a special Homeland Security event, but SFC Rivera will bring the rock wall back soon so “B Day” physical education students will have the chance to have their special “Challenge by Choice” physical education class.
