The Varsity Cheerleaders honorably represented Minisink Valley at the recent UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship in Orlando after earning a coveted bid through their performance at a UCA Regional event.

To qualify for national competition, a team must achieve a high enough score to secure a spot. Minisink Valley’s cheer athletes did just that, representing the Small Varsity D2 Division among over 90 of the nation’s top cheer teams.

“The girls put in countless hours of hard work, and thanks to the generous support of local businesses, families, and friends, they were able to turn this dream into a reality," said Coach Patti Archiere. “Although we didn’t advance to the semi-finals --- we were so very close --- making it to Nationals, in the first place, is a huge achievement. We all are so very proud of them. It's inspiring to see how this team is taking this experience as a stepping stone for future growth.  Now we prepare for Sections!"
