In addition to daily breakfast/lunch menus, Minisink Valley families now have access to additional and useful information about their children's breakfasts and lunches via Whitsons Culinary Group's state-of-the-art mobile menu.
The new viewing platform gives parents/students menu planning, nutrition information, meal ingredients and real time allergen information. This user-friendly menu viewing tool also allows families to build their own profile, or a profile for their entire family of students, and then save those account preferences.
“Families will now have access to our breakfast and lunch menus, which are viewable on a monthly basis, via this detailed platform,” said Director of Food Services Cheryl Bellew. “We’re excited that families and students can access so much more about the nutrition information of our meals, their ingredients and more. Plus, every menu can be printed at home, so anyone who wants a traditional ‘refrigerator’ menu can have it.”
To access menus via the FDMeal Planner by school building, click on the "dining' icon on each school's website/app home page; or download the free FDMealPlanner app to your mobile device:
Google Play (for Android devices): FDMealPlanner
App Store (for Apple devices) FDMealPlanner
Note: The new menu platform is also connected to the Minisink Valley website and app.
Important reminders:
Minisink Valley has amended its policy for serving meals for children served under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. Beginning in the 2024-25 school year, all students in all buildings will be served meals for FREE.
Effective Sept. 3, the district will not serve Boar's Head cold cuts/deli meat until further notice. Deli meat will be provided from another vendor. This follows an Orange County Department of Health recommendation based on the recent recall of Boar's Head products. The safety and well-being of our students and staff remains a priority.
