students at metlife stadium

Seventy Minisink Valley High School students had the opportunity to see how marketing, promotion, sponsorships, pricing, game day operations and customer service operations are handled in the work world during their recent visit to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. to be part of the New York Jets’ “Sports Business Day.”

The members of the Minisink Valley Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Club and Seth Johnson’s sports marketing classes attended the event, hosted by the New York Jets organization. They were among 900 students who attended and were given an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at everything that goes into running a sports stadium, including guided tours of the Jets’ locker room, press box, various suites and luxury boxes and time on the MetLife Field.
