Thank you to the families who stopped by the Transportation Department's "Meet and Greet" today, Sept. 4! So many K-2 students and students new to the district had the chance to meet their bus drivers and see the buses they'll be taking to school. Parents and grandparents even had a chance to board the buses!

Reminder:.Tomorrow, Sept. 4 is the Transportation Department's "Meet and Greet" Day at the district's Transportation Center at 179 South Centerville Road!
K-2 students and new district students and their families will have the opportunity meet their bus drivers and see the bus which will be transporting them to and from school! We invite you to stop by!


Reminder: Today, Sept. 3, interested elementary school families can drop off their students' school supplies during these times:
Otisville Elementary: 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Intermediate/Elementary schools: 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Please be sure all supplies are appropriated labeled. Thank you.


REMINDER: Elementary school supply lists have been posted for the past eight weeks on each school's home page! NOTE: Middle school and high school students will learn what supplies may be necessary on their first day of class.

Orientation for our new faculty in all our buildings is taking place today, Aug. 29, and tomorrow, Aug. 30! They're a talented group of dedicated educators and we can't wait to see them working with our students!

K-2 and NEW student families: Mark your calendars for Wednesday, Sept. 4 for our Transportation "Meet and Greet!" Meet your student's bus driver!


Incoming Elementary School kindergarten families:
Spend some time with Elementary School Principal Deborah Gallant and Assistant Principal Elizabeth VanDunk-McBean for some bubble playground fun at a “meet and greet” on Monday, Aug. 26 from 9 to 10 a.m. .
The rain date is Tuesday, Aug. 27 at the same time.


REMINDER: The Minisink Valley FBLA will be distributing school supplies to anyone in need on Thursday, Aug. 22 and Friday, Aug. 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tables set up in front of the high school's main entrance. All items are offered first come, first serve.

Dribble, shoot, rebound... repeat! There's a lot of learning and skills development taking place at the district's Boys Basketball Camp! And, there's future varsity players in this group, too! Thank you to everyone who has made this a great experience!

Reminder: Tomorrow, Aug. 15, is the final day that donations will be accepted for the High School FBLA's annual school supplies drive to benefit the Minisink Valley community! Distribution will take place on Aug. 22 and 23.
